Sail out on Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary. You might have a chance to participate in feeding the chimpanzees.
On arrival, you will be given an introduction of the Chimp project, its history, the residents and their plight. On each of the two sessions (Morning and Afternoon), you will receive a personal orientation by a chimpanzee caregiver and view a feeding of the chimpanzees from the visitors’ raised platform area along the edge of the sanctuary fence.The boat ride takes about 45 minutes from Entebbe to the island. Rides are weather dependent and at the sole discretion of Chimpanzee Trust management. All rates include round trip boat ride, entrance and viewing fees.
